I succumbed to peer pressure *g* and entered the brand-spanking-new version (as in, it came to me last night in bed as I was drifting to sleep) of my opening to Nathan Bransford's LIFPC.
Precie entered, I know. And I saw Jen's openings up there, too as I skimmed through the numerous entries . So good luck to all!

I've got an idea for how to work the 17th C costume, but I'll have to get back to you. :)
Shoot...shopping online I can't seem to cobble together even a pseudo-renaissance-wench costume.
But I read a great costume idea recently...get a sage green sheet...and maybe matching body paint...sandals, a big book, a paper towel roll fancied up, a painted cardboard tiara...
Voila! The Statue of Liberty.
And, YAY, Beth came to play LIFPC too!
