Overall, not a bad review. The biggest thing I look for in comments like this is, how's my writing? You can fix anything else, but if you can't tell a story, you're sunk.
He did say your writing is good, and he also told you what to work on. Sounds good to me.

I know! When he endorsed my writing (implicitly) by saying it "wasn't a problem" that actually made me very happy. These guys are picky. And by the sheer number and detail of questions asked, I think I've managed to intrigue them rather than just being written off and ignored. So there's that, too.
All helpful comments, and there have been a few postive ones now that are very encouraging.
