3 days and counting...

I stayed up way too late last night. Already I feel myself flagging, and I have a bit of work left to accomplish at the day job. But! The good news: I got almost 1200 words today at work. Another all-too-rare slow morning (by that I mean workload, not writing), and I am not complaining. Since my daily target was 1250, I'm going to call that good and turn in early tonight.

Now, if a scene is knocking around in my head by my usual writing time tonight, I'm not going to ignore it. But other than that, I'm not going to "force" myself to stay up and try to write. Even if it would be nice to get ahead for a change.

ETA: Egads! I'm second from the top on EE's list of queries. (I know this, because I check his blog compulsively now...) Even though I feel pretty good about my query, I'm a little apprehensive.

Good luck, Jenny!

fyi--Based on comments in his call for queries/openings, I submitted a query for a book I haven't written yet. Since he didn't seem to care if the queries were for actual manuscripts when the queue ran low...

It's the one entitled Q.

I saw the "Q" one...good luck with it, too! Hey, if he likes the query is it a green light for the book with you?
